Saints, those souls who have fought the good fight and made it to Heaven, are in the best position to help us, as they can intercede before the very throne of God on our behalf - all we have to do is ask!

Yes, all prayers ultimately go to God.  However, keep in mind that asking the saints to pray for us is no different than asking a friend or relative to pray for us.  The saints have a special "in" with God by virtue of having made it to God's kingdom in Heaven.

These saints have a particular predilection for helping those of us struggling with pornography, lust and impurity -
 

Saint Margaret of Cortona - Patron saint of those who suffer
                                            from sexual temptations.

Saint Therese of Lisieux (The Little Flower of Jesus) - Model of purity
                                                                                 and innocence.

Saint Philomena (Powerful with God) - Early Christian virgin and martyr
                                                            who was tortured and killed for
                                                            witnessing to Christ.

Saint Agatha - Another early Christian martyr who was mutilated and
                        killed rather than allow herself to be violated by
                        a Roman soldier.

Saint Dymphna - An Irish Christian martyr who was killed by her father rather than enter into an incestuous marriage.

Saint Mary of Egypt - A reformed child prostitute who died a hermit.       Patron saint of penitent women, prostitutes and sexual temptation.

Saint: Clare of Montefalco (Clare of the Cross)  -

O God, you chose to glorify Saint Clare of the Cross, fixing in her life and on her heart the signs of Our Lord’s passion, so that she might be a model of faith and an example of love. Through her intercession, grant me a vibrant devotion to the cross of Jesus so that I, too, may be an authentic disciple of our Divine Redeemer for the salvation of the world.

 

Saint Clare, pray for me that I may be strengthened each day to take up my cross and follow Jesus.  Amen.

Saint Maria Goretti - Italian peasant girl who, at the age of 11,
                                  chose death over sexual violation. 
                                  St. Maria Goretti was murdered in 1902 by
                                  Alessandro Serenelli and canonized on
                                  June 24, 1950.

Mary, the Mother of God - Virgin of Virgins, model of perfect purity.
                                           She desires, above all else, to lead each and
                                           every one of us, her children, back to her
                                           son Jesus.
